Présentation de la fleur de sel au thym :
Véritable pépite des marais salants, la fleur de sel de l’Île de Ré résulte de la cristallisation du sel à la surface des bassins. Le thym lui, est une plante médicinale et aromatique bien connue en Europe occidentale. Il se distingue de bien d’autres plantes pour ses innombrables propriétés et notamment culinaire. Son goût sauvage se fait apprécier de nombreux plats mijotés que nous transmettent nos grands-mères.
Agréments de ce sel typique :
Désormais associé à la cuisine Provençale, il accompagne brillamment toutes les cuisson de légumes, pommes de terre, grillades… Très parfumé, le thym que nous ajoutons à notre fleur de sel si célèbre est d’une qualité exceptionnelle ! L’accord des deux épices est parfait ! Il révèle des arômes frais et apportera beaucoup de raffinement à tous vos plats. La fleur de sel de l’Île de Ré se déguste crue, ou plutôt non cuite. On l’a saupoudrer en fin de cuisson et on l’a laisse fondre sur les aliments afin qu’ils s’imprègnent totalement des tons acidulés de cet or blanc de la côte Atlantique. Conservation :
